Details
You're ready to push your limits and get more rad on the trails, luckily Giant's Stance 27.5 2 is ready too. With an ALUXX aluminum frame featuring 120mm of rear suspension, combined with a RockShox 30 Gold fork up front with 120mm of travel, you'll find yourself charging new lines both up and down the trails. Giant's 27.5-inch wheels are quick and nimble through technical stuff and roll over everything else with ease, while Maxxis rubber keeps you tracking through the corners. Shimano's Alivio drivetrain is on gear duty and stopping is handled by Shimano's hydraulic disc brakes that modulate your crazy speed with ease. It's time to meet the Stance.
27.5-inch wheels (also known as 650B) offer the best characteristics of 26- and 29-inch wheels for an outstanding ride.
Efficiency: Increasing the wheel diameter decreases the angle of attack (the angle at which round objects meet square objects). The lower the angle, the easier it is to roll over obstacles and maintain momentum.
Traction: With a larger diameter, the tire's contact patch increases, putting more rubber on the trail. A 27.5-inch (650B) has nearly the same contact patch as a 29er for superb acceleration, braking and cornering.
Weight: The weight of a 27.5 wheel, tire and tube is only 5% more than an identically built 26-inch wheel. Compare this to a 12% increase with a 29-inch wheel. Lighter wheels mean a lighter bike, and better climbing and acceleration.

Comments:
Used bike for a 25 mile race, I was not disappointed. Took a good beating, 9 speed components need upgrade, but worked well.
Comments:
This is my first full suspension mountain bike and I'm loving it so far. I stopped riding because I have lower back problems and having the rear suspension makes all the difference in the world. The ride between this and a hardtail is like night and day. If you know you enjoy riding and you are looking to upgrade I would definitely recommend this bike considering it's under 1k.
