This is a great buy. Disc brakes, great looks, and a lightweight frame for under $500. The bike has the ideal 27.5 rim size, great for all around use. Add some bar ends, a seat bag and bottle cage and you are set for some adventure. Couple of improvements would be is to replace the seat. The seat is uncomfortable. for longer than 15 minute rides. Possibly replace the front shock if you are planning on harder use then recreational.

Use mostly for commuting in city. Have had three Giants including Yukon and Rincon. This is the best one so far. A great value for the price/performance. Very light for the price too. Would definitely buy again.

This is my 3rd bike that I've bought and it's really great. I did have a some problems with the mechanical brakes but I replaced it with hydraulic brakes and suggest you too to do so.

Bike is smooth, quite, and really fast I love its gearing. Great bike for the price. Worth every penny. I'm 5'6 and I think an xs-small frame is perfect. I bought an xs and love it.

This was my first bike in over 25 years. So far, it has been great! Note that it is a 21 speed, not 27 as listed on the website. I would rate this 5 stars, except for two things: 1) I can't get the brakes to stop squeaking, even after taking it in for servicing. Hopefully my next set of pads will eliminate this. and 2) sometimes it is a little clunky in shifting. Granted, I'm new at this, but I do think it should be shifting a little smoother. Even with those two issues, though, it has been a great bike for the price. I've been enjoying it very much and would buy it again!

Purchased my bike for exercise post heart surgery and it's turned into a fun daily ride. It challenges you to go faster, further and enjoy doing so. The ATX is a strong all around winner.
